Krazed Hair Dye War

Hmmmmmm - Well, imagine when someone says, "Ya know, I feel like shaving my head and dying it lots of different colors," and then spills some hair dye on the porch. You get the picture...

We'd gone out for Gina's b-day to see Sexual Chocolate, and after doing the living room dance club thing for a bit, Gina decided she wanted to shave and dye her hair. So, there ya go...

Barcelona Balcony Sex and Gaudi

So, in Barcelona, we decided to splurge on a hotel room since we hadn't gotten any sleep for a while. This turned out to be a good idea:o)

We slept for a while and then went out for amazingly good tapas. Krazy good calamari and spanish green olives. Wow. Unfortunately, it was a Monday, a holiday, and it was raining. So, Barcelona was kinda dead. But, we met kewl Bostonian Beeyotches at a Barcelona Bar and Brought them to a Barely crowded, yet Bedecked with dancin' Boots and Booze, uh Barcelona club. And it was kewl.

The next day, we checked out La Sagrada Familia and Parque Guell, both of which were designed by Gaudi, my new favorite architect (I recommend Life & Works of Gaudi). Good stuff!

Gila Clit Dwellings

Ahhhhh, camping! We went to Tucson and turned left to New Mexico and wound up by a national park called the Gila Cliff Dwellings. These are groovy caves that the Mogollon Indians lived in around the thirteenth century. So, we packed up our shizzz and hiked about eight miles back into the woods and hung out at a natural hot spring. And played with little froggies. And drank fuckloads of whiskey.

Oh, and I should sleep in a tent next time.

So, we met some very kewl Boulder people on the train (where we still didn't sleep) and hung out with them in Nice. We ended up staying at a really really weird hostel in Menton. It had a $10,000 HDTV and a really nice ocean view and a strange metal contraption over one of the beds and a full disco light set and we're convinced that it's used to film gay kiddie porn during the off season. It was the strangest place we stayed the whole vacation...

Onwards to Firenze!

Florence pretty much consisted of hitting the internet cafe, and going clubbing with lunatic Austrian student chix. And not sleeping at all. Our ~~summer camp~~ hostel had a 1 A.M. curfew, which we, of course missed. So, we were out 'till 6, and then slept until the 8:30 checkout. Wheee!

And, a warning! Firenze has clubs that are free to get into, but you have to pay to get out. Don't go to these if you don't have any cash and are interested in keeping your kneecaps intact.

Next, we hit Prague, which is just about the coolest place in the world. There's a secret lab under the city where they build supermodel Czech-Chix. And beers cost about twenty cents.

So, what I'm trying to say is that I really enjoyed Praha. We stayed in a room in Grandma's flat with a nice view of Prague Castle (and she sewed Fikul's shirt for him).

We cruised around the Charles Bridge area, went to mass at a groovie cathedral, checked out Prague Castle, took a daytrip to Karlstejn to check out a castle there, and investigated the properties of absinthe.

The Land of Ire

I took a plane to Dublin and met up with Shauna and Fikul (and a bunch of IRA doodz). We rented a car and drove along the eastern coast, then cut over to Kilkenny. We hung out there for a night, then continued on to Limerick (which was kinda lame). Finally, we drove back to Dublin and spent a few more nights there.

San Francisco, New Years 2000

Here's San Francisco during the weekend of New Years 2000. We went to a Spundae party (rave) on New Years Eve. We also took a daytrip up to Stinson beach, hung out at a transvestite bar, and did some tourist stuff. And it was pretty durned phun... Whoo Hoo for New Years. So, we cruised our asses on up, stayed at the Westward Whore, met up with Rack'o'Luv at New Yuck New Yuck on New Years Eve and did a wee bit'o'New Years partying. The next day we met up with Vegas Chik at a groovy Irish bar and then spent the night being Hard Cock Cafe Hooligans.

San Francisco New Years

Corrie and I hit San Francisco for New Years, wheee! We met up with my step-its and did some revel-raising, then hooked up with Marq-with-a-frickin-q, my old roommate from lovely Tucson, who I hadn't seen in 86 years.

We wound up at the scary gay-men-in-leather-buttless-chaps bar, where we got rid of our New Years drunkenness by daring each other to roll over the hot fire over and over again.

Later, Corrie & I biked 906 miles over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Tiburon. And then I got to be an Unsanity rokstar at MacWorld SF the next week. A damned good trip!
